Me and my sister Christa. This was taken about a week after Jentzen was born, so that is pretty much how I was feeling.

You gotta teach them young, if you expect them to make you any money when they get older

Names...

Isn't it amazing how awesome these ultrasound pics are? Suzie and I still have not come up with a name for our 2nd son. Could call him Christian...that's a good name...lol. Well, hopefully by the end of October we'll have one. The doctor had told Suzie that there was a calcium build up on one of his heart valves or muscles, and that it was common and nothing to worry about. I am going to believe that even so, that it will be gone in Jesus Name! Thanks for all the prayers, God is good all the time...and all the time God is good!

His Promises

God's promises to His children are what? They are Yes and Amen(So Be It). Whatever you have need of. He is our Provider, Jehovah-Jireh, He is our Banner, Jehovah-Nissi, He is our Peace, Jehovah-Shalom, He is our Shepherd, Jehovha-Raah. The most challenging thing to me I think is this, walking in faith, really living and operating by faith. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen" and Hebrews 11:6 "Without Faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him". As children of God we need to understand the reality of the authority of the name of Jesus. We have kingdom rights, to "call those things out as though are"(Romans 4:17).
Be encouraged! For He has overcome the world! Peace He leaves us not as though the world knows. I want to daily make a conscious effort to walk in faith and expect a miracle. We should not expect the bad to happen in our lives, but the good. Why? Because we have the promises of God, we are the seed of Abraham. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 tells us the blessings that we have as children of God.
"Impossibilities vanish when a man and his God confront a mountain" "God plus one equals a majority". Have a great day!

Catching Up

It's been a little while since our last post. Sometimes its hard to keep up on writing down what is going on in our lives. Suzie and I are getting educated at how to be parents, and Landon is our teacher. What amazes me is how a child can seem so innocent and yet to see the carnal nature emerge at such a young age! Landon has been delightful for the most part, he is talking more and more. We are getting ready for our 2nd baby, due date is October 28th. This will be our 2nd boy, wow! If we keep it up I might have myself a basketball team...lol. God is good all the time...and all the time God is good.
I got to preach Wednesday night at Destiny of Faith, the church we are members of, I enjoyed myself and appreciate the Lord for using me. I want to be what Jeremiah talks about in Jeremiah 18 about the potter and the clay. I want to be molded and shaped for His good pleasure. In Psalms 37:4, it says "Delight yourselves in the Lord and He will grant you the desires of your heart", the word delight in hebrew means to be "soft and pliable" that sure does put it into perspective. When we allow Him to mold us, His desires become our desires.

Desperation

What does it mean to truly be desperate? Have you ever been swimming underwater and were holding your breath? Getting to that point where you're saying on the inside "I have got to get air now or I am going to die!". Put the best in lyrics in the song" "Breathe" I am desperate for you, I am lost without you. We as Christians have to get to that point where we are truly desperate for Jesus. Because He became desperate for us, He was SO desperate for us that He endured the cross, the 40 lashes minus 1, the humiliation and utter despair...why?
Because you mean that much to Him! If you are reading this and think that you don't mean anything, look to the Cross. Look to that point of contact that Jesus made for us to come back to the Father! Jesus built a bridge with 2 pieces of wood and 3 spikes.

Mark 10:45, Romans 3:23,Romans 5:8,Romans 6:23,Romans 10:9-10. Its all there, check it out for yourself and see that Jesus considered it gladness to endure the cross to purchase your freedom!

C'mon brother

This would be a great place for Rhema brother. I wanted to offer a big thanks to my old buddy Geoff Grow, was one of my closest buddies back home. All the late night canasta games and rhema talks. I appreciate all that you and your wife Nikki did for Suzie and me. You realize what friends are when you move away and you'll always be one to me brother. Hallelujah!

Our Oregon Buddies

This is for Dan and Kelly, who we get to see this year. Dan is going to Eugene Bible College studying Pastoral Ministry and I know he's going to be a dynamite preacher, if he takes after his favorite redhead...just kidding, he's got his own style. We appreciate them and are thankful for all the good times in Winchester. Playing Nba live 99-06, Madden football, who could forget "Dirt to Daytona"...lol, and to think it all started with Zelda, "a link to the past". That's how I first met the Johnsons, playing video games with Dan' bro. Joe. What about the ice cream, old buddy, "I should stop...this isn't good for me...oh good times, we've been through angry basketball games to getting remote controls thrown at us.
God bless you guys in all you do and we wish you the best always!

The Big Move

I wanted to post some stuff since Suzie has done most of it...haha. This blog thing is a cool way for us to let our friends and family know what is going on in our lives. We moved down to Evansville about 4 months ago. In early February, we left Winchester where we had lived since we had gotten married. We will be married 4 years on August 10th, time flies...when you're having fun. Landon is getting so big, he's our son, he'll be 3 on September 25th. He is potty training right now, pray for us...lol.
We find out June 7th what our next baby will be, this baby is due at the end of October. All we will need next is a December baby, Landon September, this baby, me in November and Suzie in January.
I want to thank all my family and friends back home at Voice For Christ for all the support they showed us in moving. I had been there for 8 years. Learned how to be faithful and learned how to preach there. A big thanks to Pastor Josh and Melissa for all they did for me and my family and the Straley's for their love to us and especially Landon. Geoff and Nikki Grow for their friendship to Suzie and I and to James Davenport for his friendship to me. Dan and Kelly for being there for Suzie and I, now in Oregon going to Bible College, looking forward to seeing them again. God bless all at Voice For Christ. Keep fighting the good fight.

We are currently attending Destiny of Faith Community Church where Suzie is secretary and I am getting involved in leadership. I am currently locating underground utilities( holey moley) have been for 2 years now. I am with Reliant Services, previously SM &P Utility Resources. God bless everyone for their friendship and prayers, we have felt them. We love you all!!

A day at aunt christa's

My day was full of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, veggie tales, and a drive in the sunshine
